Anna Fisher, Principal, LIDTA

My name is Anna Fisher, I am the principal of AMSOD. I have been dancing since I was 5 years old and have always had a passion for teaching dance. I  taught in different dance schools across the County before opening up AMSOD.

I was awarded the W J Bill Tasker student of the year award in 2005 by the IDTA!  Nominations for this prestigious award are recommended by the senior examiniers of the IDTA, so I was very honoured to have won this award to reflect my teaching ability.

Anna Michelle's is a friendly environment where equality is key. ALL children and adults can learn to dance whilst having fun and everyone is offered the same opportunities.

Lessons are structured around the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus, meaning the best tuition is provided.

Aswell as being a qualified dance teacher, I am also a qualified Occupational Therapist.  My specialism is in Paediatrics.  I have extensive knowledge of Child development and disability.

My passion and the reason I opened AMSOD 15 years ago was to provide a community dance school that offered honest, professional and equitable teaching to all; and I am proud to say that that is what AMSOD is known for.
